Yes. All profile data is encrypted, stored securely, and never sold or shared with third parties. TAG Bands is fully GDPR compliant. You own your data entirely — if you cancel your subscription, your data is deleted.
Who can see my loved one's profile?
Only the people you choose. When someone scans the band, they see the information you have made visible on the profile — such as a name, emergency contact, and any medical notes you have added. No login is required to view the profile, but you control exactly what is shown and what stays private.
Is this the same as a GPS tracker?
No. TAG Bands does not track or monitor your loved one continuously. It works differently — when someone finds them and scans the band, you receive an instant What3Words location alert so you know exactly where they are. No battery, no charging, no signal required. It works anywhere, any time, on any phone.
What information can I store on the profile?
You can store whatever is most useful in an emergency. Most families include a name, photo, emergency contact number, medical conditions, allergies, and any specific care instructions. You can update the profile at any time and changes go live instantly — no need to replace the band.
How much does it cost?
The band itself is a one-off hardware cost of £24.99, with bundle discounts available when you order more than one.
